About the role
You will build maintainable automated coverage for web and API layers, help teams sharpen acceptance criteria and make quality visible throughout delivery.
What you will do
- Design test plans, automation strategy and reusable Playwright suites.
- Automate API, regression, integration and cross-browser testing.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD and analyse failures quickly.
- Report defects clearly and collaborate with developers through resolution.
Eligibility and education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent quality-engineering experience.
- Three or more years in software testing with substantial automation ownership.
- Demonstrable experience maintaining tests in a delivery pipeline.
Required skills
- Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- API testing, SQL, Git and CI/CD concepts.
- Test design, debugging and precise defect reporting.
Good to have
- Postman, BrowserStack, performance or mobile automation experience.
- Experience creating an automation framework from scratch.
